Burroughs Brunch: Nina Shengold of Reservoir Year In-Person
Nina Shengold's Reservoir Year is a lyrical memoir about the author's year-long, daily walks around the Ashokan Reservoir in the Catskills, exploring nature, solitude, and aging. The book chronicles her observations of wildlife, weather, and the people she encounters, interweaving personal reflections on life, family, and self-discovery with the rhythms of the natural world, encouraging readers to slow down and reconnect with their surroundings.
This talk is a part of our Burroughs Brunch series, which highlights natural and local topics of interest. Light fare will be served.
